Landsec employs 650 people across 3 UK offices, and have launched Unmind to support their Mental Health provision for 2018/2019, which also includes the implementation and training of new Mental Health First Aiders.
We are excited to welcome the UK workforce of Landsec to Unmind, who now have 24/7 access to our Workplace Mental Health Platform, to preventatively and proactively manage their mental health.
Sue Greenland, Head of HR and Reward for Landsec comments: “We are delighted to be working with Unmind as part of our Mental Wellness Programme. This gives all our employees support with their mental wellness 24/7, regardless of where in the UK they work. The Unmind app also allows our colleagues to support their fellow employees, friends and families to improve their overall mental health. It has been great to see the engagement we have had with Unmind and across Landsec and we are looking forward to seeing how the app contributes and supports improving the overall wellness across the business.”
Landsec strive to give mental health the same importance as physical health*, and the national rollout of Unmind forms part of their company-wide initiative to prioritise the wellbeing of their people.
Unmind is being communicated to employees as a part of Landsec’s wider wellbeing initiative, tied into World Mental Health Day on October 10th, and launched globally on October 15th. The Landsec launch coincides with new releases on the Unmind platform, including a popular series on “Optimising Sleep” and upcoming features such as “Getting Gritty” and “Easing Perfectionism” later in the year.
Unmind CEO Dr Nick Taylor comments: “At Unmind we believe everyone has the right to a healthy mind, and we developed a Workplace Mental Health Platform to make sure we delivered on that belief. We are delighted to welcome the UK workforce of Landsec to Unmind, and thrilled to be working with our first FTSE 100 company, with many thanks to Sue Greenland for driving such a forward thinking wellbeing strategy”.
By proactively approaching our mental health and focusing on our mental wellbeing we give ourselves the best chance to thrive, prevent problems and receive timely, appropriate care. We are thrilled to welcome Landsec to the Unmind family, joining our 100,000 global users taking preventative action for their mental wellbeing.
